BEFORE YOU PRANK:

Things to consider:

Before you decide to prank someone, please consider that some pranks can seriously cause damage, including financially, physically, and emotionally. Be sure that if you decide to pull off the prank, make sure that if something goes wrong and financial damage occurs, that you alone are willing to cover the financial damage caused. For example, if you decide to try our For The Birds prank, make absolutely sure that the person's car windows are closed, or else the birds may go inside and cause interior damage. If you overlook this and interior damage is caused, be prepared to pay for professional cleaning. Emotionally, make sure that if you are aware of any sort of issues/problems going on in a person's life, that you are sensitive to them. For example, with our watergrid prank, if a person is stressing over a project with a deadline, do not set this up in their office. Physically, make sure that you are aware of any allergies/physical impairments that may affect a person. For example, avoid our Antiquing prank if your victim has asthma or an unusual allergy to flour. With that said, you agree that Powerpranks will NOT be held responsible for any actions as result from visiting this website. Thankyou.

Preparation:

Rule #1:Always have a backup

Pranks can be difficult to set up perfectly. Usually, having a backup plan is ideal. For example, if you attempt to try our Antiquing prank, it is always best to have two targets for your prank. That way, if you wake up the first person, they will be more than willing to help you prank the second person.
Rule #2:Have extra supplies:

When we first decided to try our Balloon prank, we thought $15 would be enough. We were wrong. We ended up going back and buying even more balloons for the prank. The issue with this is that they could have come back to the dorm any minute, and all that time wasted running out to the store could have been spent filling more balloons. My advice is to buy your prank items at a store that accepts returns. That way, you can overbuy and return what you don't use. My advice is to buy twice as many supplies as you think you need.

Rule #3:Documentation is key

Perhaps my biggest mistake was not owning a camcorder from when I first got into college. Almost every one of these pranks have been done by me, and I really wish I had more of them on camera. My advice is to either buy a cheap camcorder, expensive digital camera, or a nice camcorder if you have other uses for it. Documenting video is ideal for preserving memories, especially if you decide to pull pranks while drunk. Furthermore, having the media allows you to share it with this site and be featured. An even more compelling reason is because there is no longer a need to explain to a friend "you had to be there".

Rule #4:Prepare to be pranked back

In the event that you plan to prank someone, you should definitely expect retaliation in the form of a prank ten times worse. The chances are that if you pull a prank, and they pull one on you, a prank war has started. If this is the case, hit them with every prank on this site until they are waving the white flag.

With that said...

Get your prank supplies in one hand, camera in the other. Now get out there and start pranking people! Remember that this is for fun, and remember to be safe.
